My twin sister, Rosselle Inclan, and her husband, KC Dela Vega, are both currently working overseas in Dubai.

And last Oct. 07, 2019, my twin sister just gave birth to our little fighter, Rain Kristoff. Unfortunately, he was born early at 27 weeks weighing 490grams . My twin sister was diagnosed with Fetal growth restriction wherein baby Rain was smaller than the usual size for that certain gestational age. And the day before our little one was born, the medical test my sister took showed that baby Rain was not receiving any more oxygen and blood so an emergency CS have to be performed so that the mother and baby will not be harmed. Due to this unfortunate events, they had to perform the operation in Dubai. The operation was successful, and my sister is already stable but because baby Rain was born prematurely, he have to stay in the NICU for 2 to 3months to continue monitoring him until he is stable.

But because he was born overseas, medical expenses are too expensive and the couple cannot afford to cover all the expenses that will incur in the coming months.

With this, on behalf of my twin sister and brother in law, we are knocking on your good hearts to help them finance Baby Rain’s medical expenses until he is fully recovered. Any amount will be greatly appreciated and would lessen the couple’s worries.

Due to increased abdominal distension, Rain had cardio-pulmonary compromise and he had one episode of arrest, given CPR and adrenaline at 11pm

Later that evening, they did a procedure to lessen the abdominal distension. Diagnosis was NEC but the hospital don’t have a pedriayic surgeon so they have to transfer to another hospital.

12/26

Rain was transferred to a children’s hospital. Upon admission, it was said that it was not an NEC, rather it was a bowel perforation without NEC. Still, colostomy was done and everything went well.

As of date, current Rain’s weight is at 1006grams and 11ml/2hrs feeding. And he is now out from the Isolation room but still in NIC. And he is currently in CPAP.

Still, we are in need of financial assistance. Couple has still balances to be paid from the previous hospital and with the current hospital. We thank you in advance for your help.

Update posted by Rochelle Inclan at 05:06 pm

Baby Rain is already stable. As per the doctor, the cover of the incubator may be removed as our little fighter can breathe on his own. Still, they are monitoring his health to ensure the safety of the baby. I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude who have extended. . . . .
