MustardSeedFaith- Valé’s missionary fundraiser

Hi, my name is Valé. I would love to share with you what I believe God has laid on my heart for my first year after matric.

A few years ago I realised that I didn't have any love in my heart for the nations. I knew there were a lot of pain and hurt in the world but I couldn't really relate to it. I asked God to change the attitude of my heart towards the nations that I can love them as He loves them.

In 2016, I felt a change of heart towards the nations. I desired for God to work through me to heal the broken hearted and just LOVE as He loves!

As 2018 commenced, I knew it was time to start thinking about what I'm going to do post matric. I realised that I did not want to attend university and I had a desire to take a gap year devoted to God.

I heard about Global Challenge Expeditions but I wasn't interested at first. Through God's Word, people, refinement, faith and Godly peace He changed my perception and heart towards Global Challenge.

Global Challenge is a non-profitable organisation where people are given the opportunity to do missionary work all around the world.

From scrubbing toilets, playing with children or spreading the gospel, one's faith is stretched beyond all limits and life long skills are developed.

The expedition is an eleven month journey where participants receive two months training and after that start traveling the world.

I want to learn how to love more like God and see people through His eyes. I want to be challenged and refined by the Holy Spirit so that He can touch lives and show God's unconditional love through me. My heart is a vessel and I am willing, by God's strength and His grace for growth, to be challenged and changed for His greater glory.

My faith is stretched in all areas including the finances to go on this expedition. The cost for this journey is R89 000. A deposit of 30% must be paid before 1 December 2018.

My faith is not in man but in God alone. And with my whole heart I trust and believe that He wil provide. This is the verse I received at the beginning of 2018 and this is the verse I live by everyday of this amazing journey: "...if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible. ” Matthew 17:20

I am using this crowdfunder as a platform where people can join me in faith to help me collect the finances to make it possible for me to go on this journey. The first 30% I am trusting for is R26 700.
