Campaign Story
Manatees for us! Books for you! A move across the country is necessary for the health of me and my daughter (our pet lovebirds, too.) I am a single Mom with a teenage daughter. Both of us have chronic Lyme disease. We have severe allergies due to an immune system overload while fighting our illness. The desert dust has been very bad for us. I already gave notice to vacate so we can relocate back to salty air with hopes of being able to enjoy breathing again.
After years of collecting, I have about as many books as I do miles to travel. Rather than just asking for help, I would like to share my collection in exchange for your help in covering my relocation expenses. And, I really don't want and am not able to move them across the country, but I promise I will send any rewards before we hit the road.
Once we settle in our new place, I plan to pursue many creative projects with hopes of sharing and becoming self sufficient again, just can't do it here.
Any small amount is greatly appreciated! and we'll even email a picture of a manatee after we get settled.
