Music Therapy!

Hi Everyone!

The title of the Campaign itself might be baffling and you may be asking..

What on earth is "Music Therapy?"

Well I was asking myself the same question a few years ago. Friends and family are stunned by the term and of course my decision to pursue this path.. and perhaps some have started to doubt my sanity.

But let me share more with you!.Music Therapy is the clinical and evidenced based approach to fulfil several goals of the client (which is the patient) and there's science backing up that Music is a powerful alternative to biological cures. It's a form of medicine on its own. Isn't that fascinating.

Music on its own gives people some form of identification, it makes it easy to recall our ABCs, it crosses boundaries and connects you with people from all walks of life. It can even teach you a new language (think "Despacito")

I will be extremely grateful and thankful for any support you can provide. The Music Therapy course lasts for 2 years and consists of interdisciplinary studies between Music, Psychology, Therapeutic placements and so much more. The school that I will be attending has an excellent Health & Rehabilitation program. Funds raise will be going towards tuition & living expenses.
