Music Teacher in need

My name is Kyle and I am a musician and music teacher in Kansas. I am currently trying to upgrade my home studio to not only help me with my personal music, but to be able to arrange and compose music for my students as well. Unfortunately being a fairly new teacher student loans take a lot of my income. I love to write and record music for my students so they can see all of the options they have in their future. 

I would like to upgrade my studio by buying some better notation software, recording gear, and buy either Pro Tools or Logic software to record and mix. I believe that with $1000 help, I can really make a nice upgrade.
