Munoz Family House Fire

I received word that Jose Munoz, a Superintendent for ACS, lost his house on Thanksgiving afternoon to a fire. It is a total lost as well as all of their possessions.

Jose's brother has been going through a tough time recently and Jose had opened his house to his brother, sister-in-law and his 14 year old niece as well.

Praise God that no one was hurt but please keep him and his family in your prayers.
I have reached out to him to see if there is anything I can do to assist them but right now they are just trying to come to grips with all that has happened.

The Red Cross has them in a hotel room for now.

We have set up a fundraising page in an effort to demonstrate what the Astra family is all about and anything that you can do to assist Jose and his family is greatly appreciated.

We are listing the names and sizes if anyone has clothing that they ca donate.

Jose only sees his daughter Katy on the weekends that he is not working so Katy did not lose too much in the way of clothing.

That being said, the things she lost were her electronics (school laptop , etc) and just a few clothes that she had for the weekends.

I assure you that anything you can do to help this family will be greatly appreciated.

I understand if anyone can not help out but, if nothing else, please keep the Munoz family in your prayers.
