Campaign Story
My loving mother (Martha) lost her leg 2017 and although she is trying her best to live with grace, she has become depressed.
Mums remaining leg is not operational and no further operations will take place due to the possibility of further complications.
Daily confinement to a hospital bed at home with 3 visits a day from nurses to feed and clean her with no quality of life.
Extreme gratitude would not even begin to describe the emotion for any assistance.
It would be so amazing if I could get a mobility van to take her out just to do normal things, like shopping and for a ride along the beach front.
It is extremely hard to watch the spirit of a person you love so much die before they do.
I took her out for a day and the mobility taxi cost $190 so unfortunately that only happened once. Rod Milner specialises in mobility vans and has a number of options.
If I could, I would buy a mobility van tomorrow in the hope of seeing joy and spirit return.
