Campaign Story
Mujer RGV is an organization in the Rio Grande Valley who focuses on a female supporting female platform. Alongside Alyssa Cavazos & Danae Dibrell, two UT-RGV professors of Feminism Rhetoric, we have been invited to present at this years Feminism & Rhetorics Conference in James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia in November!
We will be presenting on how we are participating in DIY Feminism in the Rio Grande Valley with the events we throw and the monthly meetings we host & we need your help to get us there!
Expenses such as conference fees, flights, food, etc are a bit steeper than we can manage. We are throwing a fundraising event on September 7th at Yerberia Cultura in Mcallen, Texas to raise any amount the community can help with. If you feel like you can spare any amount to get us to Virginia please donate. Any amount is welcome. If you can't donate thats okay! We understand! If you'd like to help by sharing the word &/or this link, please do so!!
