Campaign Story
Who We Are
Maha-Sukha Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2014 by Nuptul Tenpei Nyima Rinpoche with the vision: “to be happy and to bring happiness to the world through spiritual wisdom”. Correspondingly, our mission is twofold: to preserve the teachings of the Buddha and benefit all sentient beings.
Maha-Sukha is a Sanskrit word meaning “Great Bliss”. Our current activities include:
(1) the preservation of a traditional Buddhist monastery in Nubri in the Himalayan region of Nepal;
(2) establishing a Buddhist college in Kathmandu to nurture future Buddhist leaders and teachers;
(3) running a primary school for underprivileged and orphaned children in the Nubri region;
(4) bringing Buddhist teachings to new audiences around the world and supporting lay practitioners
The Cause
In this information technology era, a professional website is imperative for any organization, especially a non-profit one. Since its humble beginnings in 2014, Maha-Sukha Foundation has yet to develop a website to share its vision and projects. We have gathered some funds through the generosity of friends and family members. However, we are still short of an estimated amount of S$2,500 (USD$1,865 / €$1,560) .
Make a Donation
We sincerely invite you to support our initiative by contributing any amount to our cause. You are helping us to greatly strengthen our organization's communication capacity. Leave us your email address and we will share the completed website with you when it is accomplished! We thank you for your generosity from the depth of our hearts.
