Mr South Africa Votes for Smangaliso Mbili

My name is Smangaliso Areal Mbili aka MRSA46, I’m a contestant in this year’s search for Mr South Africa. This fundraiser is a platform for supporters and well-wishers who would love to support through votes but cannot do so because they currently do not have South African Bank accounts. Currently voting can only happen in two ways, through SMS which would require a South African phone number or via your South African Bank through the Zapper App. Each vote costs R2 which is approximately $0.06.

Following engagements with the competition organizers for possible ways to allow my international network to vote, this was the simplest and most efficient way to do so.

The competition will be running till November this year, the funds raised here will all be utilized to vote via the zapper app from now till the end of the competition.

About the Competition:

This South Africa's premium men’s competition challenges the traditional pageantry approach and it instead a platform to find the best male ambassador for South Africa. This individual is someone younger generations can look up to, a man that inspires. The platform equips the titleholders through mentorship, training and hard work, to become the inspirational agents of change our country deserves to be known for.

Humility, compassion, integrity, professionalism & realness are the key attributes that make a Mr. South Africa.

I believe I have what it takes to be this year’s titleholder and uphold these attributes and objectives most of which are currently in my track record.

Two main reasons to vote for me:

1. I intend to use the platform to inspire brave, new and beautiful standards for South African Kings. A standard that isn’t afraid to reimagine masculinity and lean on vulnerability. Ultimately, I look forward to using the platform to amplify both the efforts and voices that aim to empower the youth into active changemakers, each with a personal obligation to make South Africa the place we can all be proud to call home. I cannot wait to engage with other fellow contestants with similar aspirations for this beautiful country.

2. I want to actively advocate and form partnerships in efforts to advance youth development through creating access to education, opportunities and entrepreneurship. I have been working on this mission for the past 4 years with active research and prototyping.
