Campaign Story
I met my best friend by chance,4 years ago... A tall handsome gelding who stole my heart. I didnt own him at the time and was riding him for someone else, this went on for about a year and a half, We started our journey jumping 70cm however I was told by his owner that he is being put up for sale for a price my parents could not afford. It took months for me to make peace with the fact that I had lost my best friend, whom I still went to visit everyday with carrots while he neighed to me as I walked down the corridor. On the 28th of August 2018 I was surprised to my best friend standing there with a bow around his neck, my family and friends had put their money together to afford to buy my best friend! I have now owned my best friend for 2 and a half years, jumped 1m40 tracks in lessons and just enjoying our partnership. I am now faced with a very difficult situation My parents have found jobs in Isle of man and we are now having to relocate there, however I have shed too many tears, love and memories with this horse to just leave him behind or sell him. I am looking to raise money to afford the costs to export my BEST FRIEND as my parents cannot afford the costs by themselves. I am 18 years old and just finished Matric working where ever I can to help contribute to taking my horse with. He is not just a horse he is part of the family, and my best friend and anyone who knows me will know the bond and connection we have.
