Moving to the US to live with the love of my life

Hey everyone.

She doesn't know of this, so I'm trying to keep it under wraps.

I'm a 24 year old from Iceland who met the most lovely woman I could've ever imagined. The catch?

She lives in the US and is in the Air Force. Now that seriously complicates things, doesn't it? Anyone who's been in the military knows about all the hoops and forms you have to go through to travel and the strict rules. It's been taking a toll on the both of us and I'm set to move to the US early next year. We'd move here to Iceland, but since she has to serve the remainder of her contract, I'm going to have to go to her first and support her there to my best abilities. Next year we are getting married too, so you probably get the idea that none of this is going to be easy. Money is tight as ever and the stress keeps on building up. An anonymous kind person told me about this website and said it wouldn't hurt to give it a go. Anything raised here will go into our wedding/honeymoon next year and help with travel/moving cost.

I've never had the courage to do something like this before, but I'll be damned if there isn't a thing I wouldn't do for her.
