Moving Down Under

Dear All,

This fund raiser is for my family's dream to live down under. My husband and I met when we were 21 and 18, we were studying UWA. This was in 2008. We graduated but were unable to stay there due to family commitments.

Right now, 10 years later, having settled our family commitments, we really want to live out our dream of growing and bringing up our family in Australia, where our love was sparked. However, my husband is only a teacher and myself an admin. We dont have much and so we are seeking your kind generosity for funds to help us immigrate over by July 2020 and start a life there. We have a young son of 2.5 years old at this time of posting whom we love to help escape the unnecessary pressures of the Singapore Education system. (No offence to those who are fans, but having studied in Australia for 5 years, we can attest to the stark contrast in lifestyles.) At a tender age of 2, there already is competition about what kind of enrichment he should be taking, which we do not agree on, which primary school will he be enrolling, etc. This is not the life we envision our future generations to live in.

Your generosity will help fund our initial rental, visa application process and hopefully part of the down payment for our future family home.
