Moving Abroad: Help us make a headstart!

Hello Friends,

Recently, our dearest mothers have dropped us hints and suggestions to start a new life experience by moving abroad. Little do they know that we have actually started making plans to turn this into a reality for them, together with us. As a couple, we do not want to just let this great idea sit. We want to realise and fulfill this new goal that we have set our hearts upon - to repay our mothers for raising us up even through the tough times they have been through alone.

Her mum: Raised three children with a single income.

His mum: Widowed for 29 years, raised daughter and son single-handledly.

A little more about ourselves:

We are a couple who both come from typical low-middle income family backgrounds. Both our mothers have slogged, and are still slogging hard to ensure that we, the children, do not feel neglected in any aspect. Having just tied the knot and moving on to a new phase in life as a couple, we really wish to make a difference for our families.

But, as we know, moving abroad is not going to be easy or straightforward. Nevertheless, we still hope to make this transition as smooth and comfortable as much as we can. There are many factors that we have to take into account, especially housing for all of us. And this is where we hope your generosity and kindness can help us make things easier. Seeing our mothers work so hard for our families, we really hope to achieve bigger steps in a shorter period of time, so that they can enjoy the new life experience abroad in their soon-to-come retirement years.

Like us, we are sure many of you have, at some point in time, wanted to do something special to show how appreciative and grateful you are towards your parents. We are already imagining how surprised our mothers will feel, knowing that they can finally let down their baggage and take the backseat, exploring life in ways they did not have the time for. :’)
