I hope you are in a perfect health upon reading this campaign.
Is there a point in your life when you really wanted to join school activities, educational tours, and opportunities but you don't have the means to make it possible?
And...you are on the verge of giving up but your inner self won't?
I am always in that situation but, I always thought EVERYTHING is POSSIBLE.
Ika nga nila, do your part and GOD will make the rest.
I am using the power of Social Media to make this POSSIBLE.
Ika nga rin nila, there is no harm in trying. :-)
Let me tell you more about of my life...
I am Ranie Leo C. Blancaflor a 3rd-year student at Mindanao State University taking up Bachelor Science in Agriculture major in Agronomy.
We are a family of four. My parents are Raul Blancaflor a tricycle driver, Sanie Blancaflor a cook and overall designated person to organize a house that is located near our home. My brother is 16 years old and was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) since he was 3 years old. As much as we want to send him to school, we can't afford the daily expenses because of our family's condition. My father is assigned to take good care of my sibling during the day and find a living sometime during the night since my mother worked an entire day to meet ends.
I value my education so much. I am the only hope of our family in order to elevate our economic status as well as our overall life. I always aim high and do my best when it comes to academics. I graduated my elementary education as 1st Honorable mention and graduated high school as 10th placer in overall graduates of Alabel National Science High School and currently, I am part of the dean's list of top students with highest GPA in our school.
The best part...
The MSU-Gensan faculty of Agriculture chosen me as one of the representatives of Agro studies apprenticeship program in Israel that focuses on agriculture capacity building in developing countries.
I'm very fortunate that my auntie is funding my education as well as allowances - who unfortunately is no longer able to financially support me in this apprenticeship program. I also worked online for a couple of hours during the night in order to save a couple of bucks for my school requirements and other necessities.
Many supportive people have been responsible for supporting my education over the years, and are the reason I have been able to progress to the level I am at. For this, I am very grateful.
The program exposes students from countries in South East Asia, Africa and South America to Israel and to the most advanced commercial farming techniques on handpicked farms throughout the country.
I will be undergoing an invaluable professional training in the field, theoretical classes during weekends and be able to acquire knowledge and experience in commercial farming which will help me share the ongoing and long lasting effect of knowledge to my fellow countrymen most especially our farmers.
The program will last for 11 months and at the end of the apprenticeship, we will be undergoing testing and after passing the exam, we will be awarded a Certificate of Graduation in an elegant and formal graduation ceremony.
In lieu to this, I am humbly asking for a monetary value which will be used to support and cover my expenses on my journey to Israel, from visa processing, airplane tickets, and all the document processes needed in order for me to pursue this once in a lifetime opportunity.
I'm very passionate and enthusiastic about my strengths & abilities which in return I look forward to giving back to my community and my country when I can finally stand on my own two feet. :-)
Any monetary value you extend will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much and God Bless!
