Campaign Story
Just days ago my close friend Giulia learnt that her father has been diagnosed with MND ( Motor Neurone Disease). As her friend, my heart broke at this devastating news, and one of my first thoughts were, what can i do to help?
Giulia is living in Aberdeen, studying for her Masters degree and her family are in Cagliari, Italy. Flights are expensive for her to go home, and of course all she wants to do is spend as much time as possible with her family at this tough time.
On top of this, as MND is a cruel disease, soon her father will be unable to work and to provide for the family, leaving them in a vulnerable financial situation.
I realise that these are not wealthy times for anyone, but i would be grateful from the bottom of my heart for any small donation you could make that could help to lighten the load on this beautiful family during this hard time.
