Back Surgery to Homeless

My wife had knee surgery last winter. I had a great job and that helped us get thru the rough patch. In Feb, my job, car sales was very slow. After a year of the hardest I've ever worked for another human, he pushed me out by cutting my pay. I was devastated because he was like a brother to me and I helped turn his business around. I loved the work. I walked home in the rain in Feb and realized that night that I lost one of the best things in my life. I couldn't find work until April by which time I was nearly 3 mortgage payments behind. I got a maintenance job with a company that I really enjoy. A small family run company where good work is rewarded. Because the lower pay I was now making I fell farther behind. I've been working hard and getting nowhere. Monday 12/04/17, I had back surgery L5-s1 ruptured disc. I have always worked hard for everything and didn't need handouts. But here I sit now, having to tell my wife that as of Jan 01, 2018 if we don't make up $6500 in missed mortgage payments, we will lose our home. My wife is taking this terrible. I cannot work yet because surgery and she cannot do anymore because she's maintaining the home.

I really need some help. My girls know that dad has always worked hard. They also remember when I was off work in 2007 for heart issues. I had a defribulator put in and was off work for 6 weeks. Only got thru because we'd had help from family.

I just ask that people help me get on my feet financially and when I can help someone out, I for sure will. I always have. Thank you.

I talked with my work about light duty. They do not have any light duty stuff to do. Also, I didn't hurt myself at work, so they are not responsible for finding me work. I understand that. My Dr. wants me on light duty for 4 more weeks. This will devastate me financially. I don't have any sick time to use, because I haven't been there long enough. Please help me and my girls out.
