More Girls In Education – Mucwini (Northern Uganda)

The purpose of this project is to start activities that will lead to involving more girls and women in education in Northern Uganda. It will start with a community gathering where school children, parents, educators, community leaders etc will be invited to promote this cause.

Mucwini is a war- torn village in Northern Uganda and not so far from the borders of South Sudan. Very few girls and women are involved in education. The level of drop outs among girls is very high.

Unfortunately, even girls with very outstanding school results leave school. Girls with scholarships also tend to drop out. 

I am looking for funds to start promoting the involvement for more girls and women in the area. Your hard earned cash will be well spend.
