Monya’s Medical Aid

Hi friends!

Up until a few months ago I was quite a healthy 24 year old. In June 2017 I was rushed to hospital with severe pain on my left flank, after spending a loooong night in Casualty my doctor finally found out what was causing the pain... lo and behold, it was a kidney stone. After spending the next two days batling with my little friend, I finally passed it and went on my merry way.

In September 2017, I once again dragged myself to Casualty with excruciating pain in my right flank. This time, however, I had severe infection and a rather large kidney stone that I was unable to pass due to a narrowing in my ureter. Subsequently I was hospitalized twice, first having a stent placed between my bladder and kidney to bypass the stone and strech the narrowed bit, second to remove both the stent and the stone (phew, was I releaved).

I received another blow, my medical aid would not cover all the costs involved. Needless to say, my medical bills pilled up quite a bit. At that point I owed just over R30 000. Slowly I started chipping away at this massive debt and am now left with R16 700. Since then, I have been struggling to get the last bit together and need help in settling the last bit.
