My name is Alex.In 1992,with 22 years I concluded my studies in the school CITEX, achieving my diploma in Fashion and Textiles ( pattern cutting). For more than 15 years, in Portugal,I had my own shop, working as a designer, pattern cutter, room manager and as a dressmaker.Was a shop dedicated to bridal gowns, costumes, evening dresses and ready-to-wear clothing. Every single garment were made-to-measure involving hand crafted work.

London, New York, Paris, , among other cities worldwide are dedicated to art. Was without any doubt one of the reasons that supported my decision to move to London 4 years ago.Since them I have beeing working as a pattern cutter , designer, dressmaker in different places with different markets, gathering experience, knowledge and a better understanding of the London fashion market and its demands.Now, I ready to start my own business

 A exclusive service in the right envirnoment.

 The environment experienced in a space as I want to recreate is quite different from the time experienced in a commecial shop,where a client is just another client.Theres no time or willingness, and this is exactly what I want to offer to my customers:availability time and undive attention. 

 Whether the client is looking for a garment to a special occasion as a bridal gown , or create a working wardrobe, or just want a different piece of clothing I will start my service by assigning each client as an individual, offering a personalized and exclusive service at a reasonable price, making it accessible to a larger percentage of the femmale population. In some events in our life, we just want the chance to live and experience unusualmoments that not forming part of our everyday life.

 The working space will be a private studio, open during regular business hours ( 9am-6pm ) , monday to saturday, the customer can make an appointment by phone, email or just walk in.

I calculate between rent the studio for the firsts months, deposit, industrial machines, industrial iron, tables, machine tools, dressmaker and pattern cutter tools, dumies, different kind of fabrics, wools, jersey, velvet, coton, leather, and also  bridal fabrics such as silk, lace, brocade, all the equipment necessary to  a dressmaker space I will need around 15000£ a 17000£.
