MonPlanet’s MonStreamers MelOn Streaming Project

Since Monsta X's comeback is slowly but surely approaching, MonPlanet is proud to announce that the MonStreamers project is back! If you haven't seen the news from GO leaders, Paypal has changed policies regarding accepting money and paying fees, so we've moved our funding source. Please don't hesitate to ask us questions if you have any.

Digital charting and MelOn in particular is the most important influence on music shows when it comes to rankings. It's often been a weak spot for Monsta X so as Monbebes, it's our duty to help make this area as strong as possible. MelOn passes range from $10.99 USD to $26.69 USD but our focus is the 1 month stream + 30 downloads pass for $15.39 USD. This allows for users to download Monsta X's latest album (which counts as a purchase toward rankings) and stream the song every hour for a month (which counts toward hourly top 100 charting on MelOn).

The MelOn app for Android users and iOS users is different and MonPlanet has guides to help navigate the process:

• Download MelOn, create an account, and buy a pass on iOS
• Download MelOn and create an account on Android (you can only purchase passes through iOS)
• Download and Stream songs on MelOn via iOS or Android

Thank you for your donations, we'll be updating on our Twitter and Tumblr about progress on this project and Monsta X's comeback in general! Please consider applying for a position as a MonStreamer as well! Keep in mind that in doing so, if you are accepted you MUST be able to stream at 12 AM KST the day of the comeback. MonStreamers will be paired up according to compatible schedules to ensure streaming 24 hours a day for the duration of the MelOn pass.

If you cannot donate, please note that purchasing the physical album online through sites that count purchases on the Haneto and/or Gaon sites, streaming the MV on Starship's official account, and searching Monsta X (몬스타엑스) on Korean search engines like Daum, Naver, and Nate are very important in the final calculations on music shows.

Most important, and the admins of MonPlanet stress this the most, do not give up! Keep tweeting about Monsta X, keep watching the live streams of them performing, donate to streaming projects, do everything you can to help because every little bit works. Monsta X is counting on Monbebe so we must step up to the challenge regardless of anything else.
