Our Dad, Edmund Baclig, was initially feeling pain in his abdomen and was immediately rushed to the hospital last July 5th. He was then diagnosed with a bleeding ulcer which was treated temporarily using hemospray during his Endoscopy. Dad was then advised by his doctor to undergo CT Scan and the results discovered that he has (3A) or an Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (the normal size of an aorta was 3cm and his was 9cm wide) and at the same time, he has pancreatic cancer.

The doctor advised our family to treat first the aneurysm since it can rupture anytime - but Dad requested to go home first on July 13th to spend time with us and regain his energy before going back to the hospital for his major procedure.

After a few weeks, Dad was sent back to the hospital on August 7th to resume his treatment and procedure. His EVAR (Endovascular Repair) procedure was pushed thru on August 17th and it was a success!

The day after his surgery, he was sent to the ICU to further recover but while in the unit, his heart stopped and was revived after 12 minutes. - PRAISE GOD!

Due to what happened, he had to undergo an Angiogram procedure and was revealed that he had blockages in his heart. The doctors advised us that the best treatment is to have him under medication instead of open-heart surgery because of his condition.

Sadly, after his month-long journey in the hospital, our dad passed away last September 5, 2021, due to Cardiac Arrest secondary to malignant arrhythmia. We were left with the remaining balance of 3.2 million due to his procedures and hospitalization.

Our dad fought a good fight, and we're once again knocking your hearts to support and assist us with the remaining medical and hospitalization fees.

Regardless of what our Dad has gone thru, he still has that smile on his face and the same jokes he always shares. We know that the Lord has kept Him strong in this journey and please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Whatever amount you can give is a huge help already and we are grateful for the people who have donated before.

You can still support us thru these accounts as well:

As my dad always says, "Ut in omnibus Glorificetur Deus - that in all things, God may be glorified."
