A New Website Connecting Grammar Concepts to Classroom Novels

My name is Eric Skaggs and I'm an English teacher at a charter academy in the South Bay Los Angeles area. I decided to start an educational website company a few months ago. The company is called MonkeyTalesLearning.com and I've created an animated power point that explains our Mission in greater detail. Our intent is to develop a website that connects grammar and vocabulary concepts to the stories read in our classrooms today.

We've begun to gain traction with the interest of the Wiseburn School District's Superintendent as well as some administrators from neighboring high schools and middle schools.

I've been lucky enough to begin gathering some key people interested in the project. It seems I've delved into the world of Computational Linguistics and Artificial Intelligence without even knowing it. Professors that deal with Psycho Linguistics from USC and Carnegie Mellon University have liked the idea and its application to students at the secondary level. 

I'm currently in the midst of structuring the user content. This entails curriculum development as well as user's interactivity. Meeting the heightened rigor of the Common Core Standards while keeping the students engaged with the material is a daunting task within itself. Talented professionals willing to help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.
