Broke my friend’s IPhone by accident. I can not afford to pay for it.

I am in desperate help with money. I know that there are people here who need money way more than me and deserve it way more than me, but i am currently in a very tight sittuation. Recently i broke my friend's IPhone 8 screen by accident by smashing a door onto him. the door slammed into his leg and he had his phone in his pocket. I am currently in school in 12 grade and i have exams this year that i need to pass to get into college with a high grade since i cannot afford to pay for it. I do not have time to work and i am completely broke. My family can't cover this for me since they can not afford it. I don't like to ask for money but there is nothing i can do. Any help is very highly appreciated.
