Campaign Story
My mom, Caroline A. Toribio, has been diagnosed with lung cancer on May 30,2019, with the possibility of colon cancer and metastasis to other parts of the body. She will be needing further tests to determine these, including the stage and treatment options for her cancer. We are anticipating a lot of expense, and as my mom is no longer covered by an HMO due to her seniority, we will be shouldering all of these expenses out of pocket. My mom has been a tremendous source of strength and is the key in helping me reach where I am today. I will do everything in my power to help her.

Pet Scan Results after third chemo
Update posted by Carl Toribio at 10:40 amAfter 3 chemo sessions and starting mom on a strict keto/low carb diet, her cancer has shrunk considerably, thank goodness...We are super grateful for all the help and support everyone has provided. We have 3 more chemo sessions plus a month of radiation to go, hopeful for your continued support
1st Update: Colonoscopy on Saturday, June 1, 2019
Update posted by Carl Toribio at 01:53 amFirst additional test after the biopsy will be a colonoscopy on Saturday, June 1, 2019, to confirm the presence of colon cancer, which was indicated by the Histopathology results. Will keep you posted on the results.
