"Mommy Jo" and we, her family, are currently in need of your help. My mother has been confined in the ICU of a private hospital here in Las Pinas for more than 2 weeks now. She had a heart attack last June 08 and has not been able to breathe without the respirator since then. Doctors have tried removing the oxygen support twice to no avail. At this time, there is still no definite reason as to what causes this issue.

Due to prolonged stay in a private hospital's ICU, her hospital bill has shoot up to PHP 487,156.30 excluding doctors fee as of 06/24/16 13:56:22 PHT. To lessen the financial burden, we opted to transfer her to a public hospital however, we were not allowed to unless we settle at least 80% of the bill. We honestly lack the capacity to pay for this. So we are seeking the kindness in your hearts to help us so we can be able to transfer her to a cheaper but efficient hospital, to make her breathe on her own again and to ultimately resolve her health issue.

To all the loving children who are reading this message, this is a call from a daughter who shares the same great love and care for her own mother.

Thank you very much and may God bless you all!

Mommy Jo's Recovery

Update posted by Jacquilyn Morales at 03:47 am

At this time, the family decided that it is no longer necessary to transfer to another hospital. Mama has moved out of the ICU to a regular room last June 27 (Monday). Everything looks fine with her health. In God's grace, nothing was found abnormal on her CT scan result.. . . . .
