Mom’s New Knees – the Sequel

Gotten a few e-mails from friends who wanted to donate after the first fundraiser expired.
So this 2nd fundraiser has been created to accept additional funds that will be used towards extra medical costs and/or expenses to help keep the Flynns fed, afloat and able to focus on taking care of Mom during this time. The 2nd priority will be acquiring treats from Culver's for Mom. ;)
Thank you for all your prayers and support! Surgery went well and Mom & I are settled in her hospital room. The Dr. says she'll probably be in here till Thurs. Then get transferred into the Rehab Center upstairs depending how everything goes. (We'll keep you updated on our Post Op Adventures.)
If anyone would like to visit, feel free to give us a call and we'll let you know which room we're in. Medical Center of the Rockies doesn't have set visitor hours, which helps a ton with everyone's schedules. Mom's taking all her vitamins & stuff that you all helped us get! Thanks so much!

We are delighted to be able to assist and hope that many others will join in support of Jean's surgery. Steve had double knee replacement 3 years ago and we hope the recovery and rehab are very successful. It is a fairly long process, but worth the effort. Jean, Valerie and Ian are and will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.
Gym Notes

Needless to say, we think its pretty cool.Yesterday, Mom managed 3 cycles on the bicycle chair and 4 shallow steps up & down on the stairs in the gym.This morning. . . . .

Update posted by Valerie Flynn at 10:27 pmGood news: Today Mom got transferred from the Hospital to the Rehab Center. Funny thing is because of the Computer system, they have to discharge her from the hospital then admit her to the Rehab even though its the same place, (just upstairs & same company, etc.). Cool thing is. . . . .
