I am asking for the help of strangers.

In late 2008, my mother survived a double-hemorrhagic stroke. It left her paralyzed on one side of her body with no feeling on the same. Thankfully, the doctors and nurses saved her life since its meant five more years with her, along with Christmases, Easters, birthdays, etc. (She had insurance and it covered 99.9% of the bill.)

In early 2009, my siblings and I put her into an assisted living complex. It didn't work out because the staff believed she belonged in a nursing home. To prevent her going into a nursing home, I quit my job, moved in with her, and became her care-giver in April 2009. For almost five years I have proveded care for her 24/7. I clip her nails, bring her to her doctor, meds; I learned how to take her blood pressure, and even bathe and dress her. It is a most difficult time in life; however, the most rewarding at the same time. I lift her up so she can transfer to her wheelchair. At night, she is too weak, so I carry her.

When I moved in, I had $20,000 in credit card debt. It was no problem because I had a good job and could carry the load. We've lived off her pension and social security (no government funding, except the SS) and that's how I've made the monthly payments. It has now climbed to $30,000's and I cannot make the payments anymore. The problem is I can't get a job because my mom needs me. I can't get a graveyard shift job because she wakes up at night needing the restroom. I refuse to file for bankruptcy.

With the help of strangers, I must pay down the debt, and pay it entirely off. I am asking for $150.00's; however, any amount will be immensely appreciated. I promise I will apply any donation towards the intended purpse—you have my word—and upon request, I will via email, provide scans of the monthly statements.
