Modern Philippine Jeepney

The Philippines is currently looking to modernize the iconic public utility Jeepneys currently running the streets all around the country.

I want to create a new brand, a car company thats gonna focus on manufacturing lightweight, more efficient, and safer public utility vehicles. And the first product would be the evolution of this jeepney.

My concept should ideally run on a modern front engine, front wheel drive, lightweight platform. I was hoping to get a backing from big car manufacturers to utilize their technologies like their platforms, and efficient engines.

I believe that hybrid drivetrains is the way to go for now. EVs would be the future but as of now we simply lack the infastructure here for it to be viable. If we can use diesel hybrids to power public transport vehicles, it wil bring d positive effects like efficiency and lesser emissions to public transport system, where i think it would have bigger impact on the enviroment compared to private vehicles
