As some of you know, I've had lots of emails off people asking for advice on how to fund raise or maybe for me to help them.
I came across an email from a lady called Danielle who is in desperate need of a mobility scooter, she at the moment is housebound and has 3 children. Her partner is waiting on an operation but up to now has not been able to have it due to Danielle being house bound. Cut a long story short I got in contact with The North East Mobility Warehouse and they have very kindly given Danielle a Mobility Scooter Worth £1800. Completely Free. I've had the pleasure in telling Danielle & it's a phone call il remember for the rest of my life. This Lady is in complete shock & her children are so excited!
To find out more about Danielle here's her story...

I must say yesterday I thought this was the worst week ever, but today I got the best unexpected news EVER, and the generosity of some people in this world utterly amazes me and I’m still in shock I’m extremely grateful for all the people that has helped and I just know my life and my kids’ lives will change for the better with a scooter, I just hope they will be able to keep up with all the outings that we will be doing as I can’t wait to get out of this house without been scared of getting stuck, words honestly cannot describe how I feel at this moment in time thank you all,

Today Melody had her first day at Nursery, at the same school as jamie and jade, but today they had to be picked up by their antie even tho it was a big day for melody, this is because dean has had to go for an xray on his knee and for a ultrasound scan at the school run time, many people say then why dont i pick them up and i would if i could but the walk is too far, jamie is now 8 soon to be 9 in june and i have never taken him to school or picked him up and this is something i would really love to do before they can take them selfs to school and to the park

today the tooth fairy visited my eldest daughter jade who is 6, and my son jamie told her that she should give her money to me for the mobility scooter but she stood her ground and told him no im getting sweeties, to which jamie got a little upset with her for not helping raise the money needed so i explained to them both that its her money and she can do what ever she wants with it so her dad bought her some sweets, but after she had them she asked how much of a difference would it have made in which i replied: every penny dose help alot even if its just 1p,
so jade then said well when its my birthday you can have my birthday money, which i did not expect to hear to which i said hopefully we will have saved up and got it before your birthday so i will beable to take you out on your birthday. (which has never been done, and jades birthday is in may) so please could people help me keep my promise to my little girl as her face lit up when i said i would take her out on her birthday

today my son had me in tears, as he came up to me with his little box (ment to be for dice) and said "i have been saving my tooth fairy money and looking for money in the sofa and its all here so you can get your scooter now" in which i had to explain to him that is want enough, jamie has managed to save just under £4 and he then asked how many pennys are needed which i explaind that it was alot in which he then replyed "well you can have my pokcet money and i will give you my birthday presents so you can get the scooter so then you can take us to school and to the park" in which at this point i was in tears so he told me not to worry and that we will save up for it no matter what, jamie even told his dad off for buying a chocolate bar for him and his sisters

this was all said to me by my 8 year old son who has learning difficultys who knows how much a difference a scooter would make to me and them
