Missy and her long road to recovery

Missy is suspected to have been kicked and subsequently has had to have emergency surgery to re attach her abdominal wall muscles. She very nearly lost her life and has a long road ahead before she is out of the woods. I hope that, if nothing else, I can raise awareness and ask any pet owners to check their insurance because what I thought was insurance was simply a 'health care' package. As a result of this the emergency care and treatment for Missy to survive has cost me almost £3500 pounds and will continue to cost. I know some people would say "Why spend that on a cat" but she was a healthy, happy one year old before this happened so I wasn't prepared to let her go if she could make a full recovery and have a happy life.
