Misson Nicaraugus

My son, Reece, and I (Jody- aka Mom) are raising money to be part of a mission trip to Managua, Nicaragua from June 8th - June 17th. Our twelve day trip includes two days of travel. During our time in the town of Tipitapa we will be doing contstruction, children's ministry, teen ministry, food distribution, relationship building with the Nicaraguans, and working with Pastor Chema and his family. Neither of us speak spanish, however, we are currently taking online classes with the thought that any little bit helps.

Reece is 13 and this will be his first mission trip. It will be my second. I really would like for us to go together so that we can strengthen the bond between us as well as our relationship with God and others in our church. I feel that it is important that he see that there is a difference between what we see as poor in the USA and what poor really means. My hope is that we can change lives and our can be changed as well.

All money raised goes straight to the trip. Currently, the cost per person is $1500.00 each. We would appreciate if you would consider donating any amount so that we can make this life changing trip.
