After a long time of praying and waiting on the Lord, I received an invitation to assist as a volunteer at an orphanage in Kenia (www.kingskidsvillage.org/)

Kings Kids Village sits on a beautiful 5 acre plot of land, just north of Nairobi. It is a beautiful place of retreat and calm… a great place for kids to run, play, and grow. The orphanage has the vision of caring for the children of Aids victims. Every child is raised in a family unit with "siblings" and a set of parents.

A few years ago, I have been involved as a housemother of the Bowy House of Safety (Paarl) for children affected and infected with HIV/AIDS. I know that the knowledge I have gained here, together with my experience of working with children at risk over the years, will greatly assist me on this new journey.

This journey will bring new challenges. Will you please pray with me that I may stay within the plan that the Father has for my life and that I may continue to show the children that I work with, the love of Jesus.

If our Father leads you to partner with me financially, be assured that you will be sowing into the lives of children in need of love, care and education. Your prayers and donated finances will make sure that I am able to fulfil Jesus's command in Matthew 28:19.
