We are a team of two ladies from Kenya, who have been working towards raising funds together for our volunteer services or you might call cross- cultural or missionary work as many would put it, in Tanzania. Our work with Pamoja Ministries (www.pamojaministries.com) mainly consists of :
Translation and editing of Literature in English to Swahili for local leaders and pastors. These include the Action Bible translated for the first time in Swahili, being deployed in the unreached places for discipleship. Leadership Training international, 12 books series, training leaders or all spheres in Tanzania, Missio Global books- masters program for Bible schools in Tanzania, The Valiant Man - men's Bible study material on their sexuality, and the list goes on.
Missions training across Tanzania. Together with Go to Nations, we have been training pastors and church leaders on how the East African church can be a missionary sending church. We are empowering them with the steps to the mission field and addressing some of the worldviews that have held us back all this time.
We have been dedicating our time to engage with and disciple college students, from colleges sorrounding us. We have had Q and A sessions where the students are allowed to ask questions concering their faith, dreams and fears.
Together with our team at Pamoja, we organize kids mini VBS, and last but not least, we also show movies in schools and villages.
Since moving to Tanzania, almost five years ago, we are constantly humbled and overjoyed by the opportunity we get to serve others.
For all these time, we have been asking close friends and our community to support us financially for our upkeep and ministry. Since our work is increasing and our ministry expanding, whatever finances we receive are no longer enough.
That's why we've decided to reach out to the global community of people that are looking for opportunities to serve, love, and equip a community with the right kind of information through their finances.
Your financial support would mean the the work we do will continue to grow and have it's great impact on everyone who comes across us.
PAMOJA MINISTRIES VISION for every culture is having more Christians making life better for everyone around them by providing servant leadership in all sectors of society.
MISSION- is to Disciple Cultures Through Media.
AIM- We aim to equip every Christian with a Biblical worldview, empowering them to be competent and confident facilitators of community transformation.
Using the Power of Media – For 25 years we have used the written word, music, movies, television, and cartoons to reach people across East Africa. Through media we provide resources to the Church in East Africa, empowering them for effective evangelism and deep discipleship.
THE FUTURE –
We must continue to provide leadership training material and develop more.
We are producing children’s television and plan to develop tools for young adults and adults soon.
By 2022 we plan to have 3 continuous streams of media running concurrently, each aimed at a different demographic and effectively engaging their questions, hopes and fears.
We have started the process of registering Pamoja in other cities within East Africa. So far we have Pamoja Kenya established in Eldoret, a town that is between Nairobi, Kenya's capital and Uganda, a neighboring country.
Our translation department is expanding. We are looking to have as many leadership and community transformation material translated to empower the community with information in a language they can understand.file:///C:/Users/pamoja/Videos/Pamoja%20Promo%20Videos/Translation%20with%20intro.mp4
