Mission Trip to Uganda

Hi dear friends!

I need your help for the volunteer trip I'll be taking this summer to Uganda. The trip will be coordinated by Global Volunteer Network as it's part of their missionary project, so here's what I'll be doing there, together with the other members of the team:

-  village teaching (arts, crafts,academics, health) and outreach placement (youth mentoring, HIV/AIDS prevention, sanitation & hygiene)

- teaching in primary school, in Mukono (a city near Kampala, where the mission team will stay)

- orphan care

- public speaking and mentoring on health topics, nutrition, hygiene, women's rights - this will be mainly for secondary school

For all these, I need your help. Me and the rest of the team will be staying in Mukono and travel to Kampala and villages near Mukono for implementing these projects.

I pray that God will fill your heart with love for this mission and for the people there, so that you can gladly support me in this trip. Costs of the programs are around $3,100 (airplane ticket included), of which I currently have around $1,000. I need to pay this fee until March 30, so I honestly need your help.

Be blessed and even if you don't want to contribute to this trip financially, please pray for me, so that God's love will be felt by people there, through all the team's actions!

My Motivation

I believe this is God's will for me and I'm ready to go wherever He wants me to go! People need to see God's love proven by our actions, not just to hear how much God loves them. While words do count, these people need more than encouragements, they also need our time, our energy and money.

Reaching to Uganda and helping those people by implementing the projects mentioned above is my biggest dream, it's what my heart beats for right now and I believe with God's help and your involvement, I will get there and make this dream come true! I know God can do anything but I also know he works through people like you and me, so even if you can't or don't want to go there, you can still help by supporting a missionary, with your money and prayers!
