Dear Friends, I hope things are going well with you. I have some exciting news that I wanted to share! My coworker and I are going on a group from a mission trip to the country of Haiti. Because of the 2012 earthquake, official estimate, 316,000 people killed, 300,000 injured, 1.3 million displaced, 97,294 houses destroyed and 188,383 damaged in the Port-au-Prince area and in much of southern Haiti. We are making the trip with Mission of Hope, an organization that has worked for over 15 years in Haiti giving orphans a home, providing food, medicine, and education for underprivileged Haitians. The dates of the trip are April 24 to May 1, 2014. I am writing to you to ask for your financial support. All donations go directly to the Mission of Hope to benefit the Haiti. Anything you are able to give would be helpful! If you are unable to give at this time, prayers are just as welcome as we begin to plan our mission trip. While in Haiti, we will have the opportunity to: Raise the health standards and relieve suffering through community health, sanitation, and operate a full medical mobile clinic %95%95Work in an orphanage that houses over 60 children Build homes for those displaced by the earthquake %95%95Spend time ministering to children living in a number of orphanages Any amount you choose to give will be helpfully. Again, 100% of the donations go to Mission of Hope for Haiti. To learn more about the mission and its ministry, please visit its web sitehttp://www.mohhaiti.org
