Mission Trip

I recently been accepted into an international volunteer program called EDventure International. I'm trying to raise money so I can attend an amazing opportunity to travel to Thailand and help with the rehabilitation of endangered species of elephants. This will include feeding, bathing and building shelters for the elephants. I will also work to educate the local people in Thailand on how to take better care of their elepants to prevent further endangerment. I am currently a college student majoring in Animal Science to become an exotic veterinarian and this opportunity is exactly what I want to do in my field of work. I would love to get a head start and experience what my college degree will lead me to. During this trip, I will be participating in leadership skill workshops that will develop my abilities professionally and presonally. The trip to Thialand also allows us to interact with the community and teach their young children some basic educational skills, like how to read and write, that will make a positive impact in thier lives.
