PINK FLUFFY ELEPHANTS WEAR SPOTTY YELLOW KNICKERS!!

Ok, so now that I've got your attention, I hope you'll stick with me in reading the following :-) 

My friend Michele (34) has suffered with cystic fibrosis since birth, and six years ago she had a lung transplant for which she is required to take medication everyday to ensure that her body doesn't reject the lung.

Michele has also recently been diagnosed with inoperable cervical cancer for which she is having intense radiotherapy and chemotherapy over a period of seven weeks. She is currently in hospital fighting an infection as her immune system is highly compromised whilst trying to cope with two very serious illnesses. 

I would just really like to raise a little bit of money so that Michele and her husband can afford to have a short break somewhere nice following the treatment. The treatment will no doubt cause her to have some side effects including tiredness, so the poor lass will be ready to spend some relaxing time with her husband.

You may not know Michele personally, but rest assured that your money is going to a true fighter who always manages to laugh at life - despite how she may really be feeling.
