Campaign Story
A large number of people have been affected by the Flooding around River Nile.This flooding has highly affected the people of Sudan and Kenya.This has resulted in despair, displacement and diseases among these people.Villages have been destroyed, more than 100 people have died, and tens of thousands of others have been forced from their homes.Another threat comes in the form of diseases lurking in stagnant water, posing yet another threat to survivors at a time of a global pandemic.
With ageing infrastructure and unreliable drainage systems,these people have been forced to flee their homes.At Lifeline we focus on providing basic needs to the affected families.Focusing on children to ensure they at-least get 1 meal a day and a tent for shelter.
Your donation,no matter how little will play a big role in ensuring these families get through this tough times.With Covid-19 factored in, these are unbearable conditions for them Thank for your contribution towards helping a child,a mother,a father,grandmother,grandfather get through the flooding.
