UPDATE ON PROGRESS FOR FUNDRAISING EFFORT!

Thanks to my recent wonderful supporters, I am a little over halfway towards my overall fundraising goal. Even more amazing? My pageant ad booklet is now funded! I'm going to be putting together the 8 x 10
 PDF ad page here in a little bit - I will post it on my Miss Vamp Facebook fan page, so you all can see how it looks. I'm so grateful to each and every one of you. I couldn't be doing this without my friends and family.

UPDATE ON WHERE I'M CURRENTLY AT WITH SHOW PREP:

At the moment, I am now working on my costumes for the show - most specifically, the outfit for the talent portion, since that is proving to be the most labor-intensive. Your continued support means the world to me!

What's all this? Why are you trying to raise money?

     This year, I am following a dream by participating in Miss Vamp Hawaii 2013!

What in the world is Miss Vamp?

     Basically, it's a local beauty pageant which empowers women by encouraging diversity, uniqueness, and dark artistry in its contestants. We're a big group of like-minded individuals from various backgrounds who share a love of dressing up, expressing our darker side, and entertaining people. The acceptance I have found in this group of women is beyond anything I have ever experienced before.

Where will your donations go?

     Your generosity will enable me to put together showstopping costumes, a great talent, and awesome extras like hair accessories and makeup. You know what they say-go big or go home, but I can't do this without your help. Think of it as a late birthday present for me.

The pageant booklet! Now funded! 

     Another way you can be involved: this year, like every year, we have a pageant booklet featuring photos of the contestants as well as business ads of supporters. This is standard practice for beauty pageants. The booklet is printed on high quality paper, and is a memento for performers, friends, family, and guests alike. If, instead of donating directly to the fundraising cause, you'd rather purchase ad space for your business in the booklet (or just space to offer good wishes!), contact me on my Miss Vamp fan page, here:

     The booklet is a great way to reach people, since many, many folks will be seeing it this October 10th at the Hawaii Theater! There are many options. A full page (8x10) color ad is $500; full page black and white is $300. ($300-for a whole page ad just for you!) From here, things can be broken down further. A sixth of a black and white page would be only $50, etc, so you can see, there are quite a few choices! Just let me know. I'll be taking care of putting together the actual ad pages; you just have to tell me what you'd like it to say, send me your business logo/slogan, if applicable, and I'll take it from there.

     Remember, I can't do this without you folks. You don't want me looking all sad and raggedy up there on stage, do you now?
