Campaign Story
An unforgettable tragedy, a near-death accident. Hence, that is what happened to our little Nur Diana Natasya, a 7-year-old girl who had an accident when she was just 6 years old.
A happy child who was once cheerful, playing around without having anything holding her back. But now, she has to be constantly monitored due to the accident.
The accident has caused a very tragic impact on Nur Diana. Her cranial bones ruptured, causing the doctor to remove them from her head.
Nur Diana lived with the absence of her cranial bones for a year. No parent can bear to watch their child live in such a state.
An unforgettable painful memory
In December 2019 where everything started when Nur Diana were involved in a motorcycle accident in the rain with her mother, Mrs. Ning.
Unexpectedly, the accident had caused her head to hit the road which leads to a serious head injury.
Not long after that, Nur Diana started to vomit and passed out. Surprised by the incident, she was rushed to the Tok Ubang Health Clinic. The doctor found that the cranial bones of Nur Diana were fractured due to the concussion that happened before. Nur Diana was then admitted to a ward in Lati Hospital because of bleeding in her brain.
After that, Nur Diana was sent to Hospital University Science Malaysia (HUSM) to undergo her first surgery to remove a blood clot in her brain on December 18, 2019.
The next day, Nur Diana underwent her second surgery to remove her fractured cranial bones. Nur Diana was then admitted to the ICU for a month before she was discharged in January 2020.
Today, Nur Diana can play with her friends under the supervision of her father, Mr. Faizul, as her new synthetic cranial bone has not yet been implanted.
No parent wants to see their children grow up in an imperfect way.
A synthetic cranial bone implant was scheduled for surgery in December 2020. But due to the lack of funds, the surgery couldn’t be done.
For more than a year, Nur Diana lived without a cranial bone in her head. It bothers Mr. Faizul and Mrs. Ning to think about their eldest child.
TREATMENT AND LATEST NEEDS.
Due to the discontinuation of the surgery, Nur Diana did not consume any medications and she must attend her appointment once every three months to ensure her health is in a good state.
At the same time, Nur Diana needs a new synthetic cranial bone to replace her broken cranium bones.
The cost of a synthetic cranial bone alone has reached 3,000USD excluding the surgery costs that Nur Diana will have to undergo.
Mr. Faizul's heartbeat stopped for a moment just by hearing the cost of the synthetic cranial bones. With the uncertain conditions nowadays, Mr. Faizul has been cut off from his source of sustenance as a laborer due to the Movement Restriction Order (MRO) by the government of Malaysia.
In addition to his responsibility towards his dependents, Mr. Faizul is deadlocked on how to obtain such a large amount of money.
PROJECT: NUR DIANA NATASYA’S SYNTHETIC CRANIAL BONES
Therefore, Myheart, alongside MyFundAction, is taking the initiative to fund the synthetic cranial bones for Nur Diana.
We are also offering you the chance to share your sustenance(rizq) with us by starting a fundraising campaign for our little Nur Diana and other patients like her.
Hopefully, these efforts can bring a new shine to Nur Diana’s life with her new synthetic cranial bones. Do pray for Nur Diana’s well-being in undergoing the synthetic cranial bone implant surgery soon. Amen.
