Miri Motorsports Park

To save Motorsports scene in Miri, I am running a crowdfunding program in order to get supports from friends and Motorsports enthusiasts. All funds will not go to me but the registered LD Motorsports Club. The purpose of the funding is to build a park where we can have cars and bikes to come and use the track for any types of events. We have identified an empty land as well as an abandoned space which we can (with the permission of the authority) turn it into something special for all car and bike lovers.

There is no chance to wait for the government to give us a track or circuit. It will never happen because its not profitable to them. They did not see the bigger picture whereby this will boost the city economy and many more.

This park is also one way to minimise illegal street racing or mat rempits which is very dangerous and endanger lives. With Lutong Oil Airport no more with us, there will be more illegal racing activities going on. This is not only dangerous to them but to other road users as well as pedestrians.

When will the government open their eyes and see what is needed here? Even with the ready made track, we cant even use because of political reasons. Are they even supporting and listening to the youths?

Anyway, i hope this funding will help build the “playground” that we have always wanted. For a minimum of $1 or RM4, i thank you very much. At the end of the day, it’s not just for us. It’s for the youth and the future of motorsports.
