Unlike most of teens enjoying the best out of their youth, Brian Tomboc Valenzuela (15 years old), has been hospitalized since September 10, 2018. Brian is confined, bedridden and unable to breath on his own at Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center La Union for almost five arduous months now. Diagnosed initially with Dengue Fever that subsequently led to hemmorrhagic shock, Brian was comatosed for two months. Upon waking up, he is unable to move both his upper and lower extremities and was diagnosed as a case of hypoxic schemic encephalopathy.

Raised by a family who has nothing but a kind heart.

Described as a well behaved boy who loves sports like basketball, hiking and biking, Brian was raised alone by his mother Mrs. Susana Valenzuela and relatives. When Brian was still one year old, his father accidentally died from a landslide caused by a typhoon while trying to help someone. Widowed early and left with no other choice, to provide for Brian, his mother had to work as a domestic helper from 2007 to 2018. As of the moment, his mother is now unemployed so she can take care of him and attend to his needs. His mother smiles despite the circumstances, grateful of the constant grace of God and relentlessly optimistic that there is future for Brian.

Humbly asking you today to be a miracle for Brian.

Presently Brian is still in Intensive Care Unit, and as a part of the Health care team that is handling him, I feel the pain, hardship and the financial constraints that this family is going through thus this fundraising campaign.

Currently helping his family to find all means to raise funds for Brian whose estimated medical bill and expenses up to date is amounting to 16000USD or around 800,000php accumulated from 5 months of continuous treatment, procedures, therapy and ventilator use.

Every form of help in money, in kind and simply just by sharing this post is eternally appreciated. You’ve been his miracle today and for that we sincerely thank you!
