Minku is a rescue kitten we adopted after she rushed into the apartment we moved into back in September 2020. We heard soft meows coming from underneath one of our neighbor’s car; when one of us decided to call out to her to find her, “Minku, Minku!” she immediately and enthusiastically ran toward us and followed us into our new home.
She has been such a joy to us in this lonely quarantine, we sometimes think that it may actually be the other way around, she chose us, she rescued us.
She was very thin but highly energetic, and we nursed her back to health while in quarantine.
The first thing she did when we entered the apartment we were currently cleaning out, was pee on our kitchen floor...
...From that moment on, we knew she was family.
Over the past six months, we’ve grown to love Minku and her playfulness, but recently she’s been diagnosed with patellar luxation, a dislocation of the kneecaps, making it impossible for her to walk without falling over.
She’s currently on pain reliever meds and is fed through a syringe. She doesn’t move as much, and spends entire days just lying on the floor in pain. We’re asking for your help in collecting funds for her surgery and aftercare. We want to stop the pain, and also see her walk and be her energetic self again.

We do not have the means to pay for her surgery and aftercare, we are hoping that this fundraiser can help us get through this with her; she chose us as her family and her caretakers and we want to do anything that we are able to to help her get through this. We are humbly asking for your kindness and support in order to #HelpMinkuWalkAgain
