Ministry Vehicle

My name is Pastor David Pacheco. I have a wife, Sandra Velasquez and four children (Eunice, Dana, Ian and Yurik). We live in Oaxaca city and have a passion for reaching the lost. We have heard God's call to pastor a church in Huatulco, Mexico, about six hours away from where we live. The church has grown rapidly the past year, with numerous events, baptisms, lives changed. The biggest need and prayer request is for transportation. Right now my wife and I travel over 6 hours by bus (slightly dangerous) on Friday after work and return on Sunday. Most of the time we are unable to bring our children. Our four children often complain that they haven't been attending the Church, serving in it (they lead different ministries when they are there), but it's tough for them to make the travel. We also have hopes of reaching the whole coast, making missionary trips out from the Huatulco church with direction from Peter Cawthorn.
A used vehicle, serviceable for ministry should cost somewhere around 10,000 USD. Please prayerfully consider partnering with me for the Gospel, so that all may hear the good news of Christ.

Pastor David currently works for Peter Cawthorn, 30+ year missionary in Oaxaca and they both have the same heart to reach those who haven't heard. He also holds other odd jobs on the side like helping a brother fix cars, etc. Sandra works in Early Education.

More about the Huatulco Church (started about 1.5 year ago):

- About 50+ regular attendance (30 adults, 15 youth, 13 children)

- Eight young adults recently got baptized

- Dia de los Reyes (Like Christmas for Mexico) event in Huatulco where multiple donations in clothes, food, gifts and services was secured. Children, for the first time in their lives, got gifts. Many were healed and many came to Christ. God willing, it will be a yearly event.

- Impacto team and other missionaries came to support the ministry
