I would like to establish a mini therapy centre providing alpaca therapy, dog therapy and cat therapy, and even onotherapy.

My project is not the startup or very promising busines. It's just charity idea. I would like to help and give joy to those who cannot afford paid therapies. I like my job but I still have a lot of heart and time for give sth to others :)

My Rainbow Corner would be open to everyone, especially to:

- children suffering from autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, intellectual disability;

- older people;

- persons suffering from depression, nervous breakdown, anxiety;

- persons tired with their lives;

- and everyone who needs a peace of mind, a moment of forgetfulness and contact with nature.

Animals are great therapists and their therapeutic skills have been used for many years, and are more and more accepted by society.

Dogs and cats are widely known for their skills, but alpacas are new in this area – mental rehabilitation of people with disabilities through therapeutic activities based on the physical contacts with animals. This method is used to improve emotional, physical, cognitive and social skills of people. Through playing with animals, hugging and stroking them, people become relaxed, more open, are happy, smiling and perform their exercises in a much precise way. Persons with disorders become braver, learn to control their bodies and impulses thanks to their contact with animals. Animals, thanks to their activeness, provide greater opportunities for motor skills development.

Alpacas are very gentle, placid and shy animals. Escape is their only way of defence; if they are really angry, they may spit on the opponent:)

They love spending time with people and especially children. They are intelligent and interested in their surroundings. They are quick at learning new things such as eating out of hand, walking on a leash or driving in a car. Alpacas like to be stroked and hugged, and seeing them just puts a smile on everyone's face...

We need to buy animals, a heated shelter in which therapeutic activities could be carried out on colder days, a stable for animals, fencing, required equipment and a special certified course for me and the animals.

And that is why I would like to ask you for support and help me raise even a part of money – every penny counts.

Together we can help those in need...
