Mini Acres is located in Victor, Montana on several acres of pasture and pens with shelters for winter.
I take in rescue horses and aimals that are in need of better living areas and better nutrition and health care. I meet their needs in these areas and then look to re-home them in Forever Homes when they are able to move on to establish their abilities and grow and live fullfilled lives with people who love them.
I have taken in 6 horses and some cats also and have been able to provide for and meet their needs and have found Forever Homes for 3 of the horses so far this year and this then enables me to be able to take in other horses as there are many out there in need. I am single and meet the needs of these horses all on my own financially. Being able to find those who also love horses and are able to assist me in this process financially would be of great assistance to my being able to care for these horses to have and then further their care in loving homes. If you know horses, caring for them involves several things which include: nutrition aspects that vary due to age and many other factors, farrier care, worming, vaccinations, equipment (halters, lead ropes), adequate fencing (NO barbwire, panels, gates), weather coverage (good for older, poor nurished horses), pasture care, water (buckets, hoses, heaters), time (grooming, full body checks, etc.), and MANY other factors too. If you are able to donate any amount as none is too small, please do as it will provide the best for these horses no matter how big or small! I am happy to send you updates, keep journals on them and happy to answer all questions of this mission to give each animal a life of dignity and health and happiness.
They are just one of many of God's wonderful gifts to us! Thank you for your interest and look forward to hearing from any of you regarding rescues and successes. Tracey L. Brown
