Minh Truong’s Cancer Fund

A week before Thanksgiving 2013 Minhwas diagnosed with stage 4 Lung cancer. After previously battling cancer in another part of his body and almost completing those treatments, he is faced with the brutal reality that he will have to fight this disease once again. Currently, we know that this will involve multiple weeks of targeted radiation as well as continuing chemotherapy. Although he stated that he will not ask for charity, we have convinced him to allow us to create this fund on his behalf. He has asked for nothing but your positive thoughts and prayers, but as his friends we know that easing the financial burden during this time will allow him to focus on the getting the medical care he needs without any hesitation.

While he does have insurance, the extra costs of gas, specialist co-pays, and unpaid time off alone can be expensive, not to mention any procedures that may not be fully covered by insurance. Simply put: we want make this as easy on him as possible!
