This a funding campaign for Ms. Editha Adelan-Lozada, or Mimi as her family and friends call her.
Mimi was constantly the light of her family and friends in need. When still able, she never ceased to extend help for others in their expenses for daily commodities, education, and improvement of living conditions. She never gave a second thought in lifting others up even carrying some troubles of her own.
Thirteen years ago, Mimi was diagnosed with kidney problems. She underwent dialysis and treatment for two years until she was advised for a kidney transplant.
For years, her new kidney worked well with accompaniment of anti-rejection drugs. However, last November 2017, she was hospitalized and the medical staff found out that only ten percent of her kidneys are working well.
Her immune system slowly deteriorated. Shortly, she was diagnosed with Sepsis Pneumonia. Sepsis is a complication that occurs after the body is infected with germs and can lead to organ and tissue damage. This illness which is also called blood poisoning can affect the lungs.
At present, Mimi undergoes Platelet Apherisis for her Sepsis Pneumonia. She also endures the pain of Dialysis daily.
Let us help Mimi walk on her road to recovery. Let us be the hands that would lift her up and carry her away towards this adversities. With humblest hearts, we sincerely ask for your help to sustain Mimi's medical treatments. Let us help her beam again the light she once had.
