Milpark Hyperbaric Medicine Centre was established in 2006 with the purpose of providing life-saving treatment to patients in need. Over the years, we have had immense success in treating the 15 Internationally approved HBOT conditions, as well as some off-label conditions as part of our research endeavours, which have yielded favourable results.
Milpark Hyperbaric Medicine Centre has an ongoing policy of treating deserving patients regardless of their ability to pay for treatment. Most of these are from the public hospital sector as such facilities aren't available in any of the government hospitals in the greater Johannesburg area.
The purpose of Milpark Hyperbaric Foundation is to raise funds to enable us to continue to treat those less fortunate, deserving patients, from the public hospital sector, as access to Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy in government hospitals is rather limited in South Africa.
We have been working closely with the doctors from a number of government hospitals in the area and they have come to rely on our ability to assist them, and their patients, by providing this gold standard treatment for any of the 15 evidence-based conditions.
